St. Louis Memorabilia

Welcome to http://www.StLouisMemorabilia.com  . This site was created to talk about St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and to show some of my Albert Pujols, Stan Musial, Chris Carpenter, and Sam Bradford collection. You can check out some of my Pujols items, while with the Cardinals, and Musial items above at Pujols, Musial, Bradford, Carpenter . I am always looking to buy Albert Pujols Cardinals Items and Stan Musial Game Used Items. Also, I am looking for Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Ty Cobb Autographed or Signed items. I have a few items for sale in my Web Store and For Sale On Ebay.

Now that Albert Pujols has hit over 700 home runs and over 3000 hits becoming only the fourth player to do it, his items will become more rarer to collect since a lot of collectors will be keeping Pujols items in their collection, especially his game used items. One of the hardest items to find is his 700th Home Run Ticket . I was fortunate to locate several 700th Home Run Tickets. Please be aware that what you might think is a real game used Jersey may not be game used even though an authenticator has said it is authentic. About 90%+ of Albert Pujols Game Used Jerseys being sold today for instance have been doctored to look like a game used item and have never been used and are BAD, and the authenticators are passing these as game used and they are not. If is rated an 5A or similar, it possibly came from a retail store, with the year tags being removed from another Jersey and placed on the Pujols Jersey, so beware. If you can buy an Albert Pujols Game Used Jersey for $3,000 or less, it is probably not good. Just because it has the 0062 tag in the Jersey does not mean it is an official game used Jersey by Albert. Some Game Used Jerseys have been doctored and added the Pujols lettering and numbers. Some Cardinals Blank Jerseys with the 0062 Tag were sold in the Cardinals Store and lettering and numbers have been added later. You need to know what to look for and a Cardinals expert knows what to look for! No, I am not a Cardinals Expert and do not claim to be. I have contacts with Cardinals Experts that collect only St. Louis Cardinals items and know what to look for in a real game used item. The authenticators spread themselves too thin trying to authenticate everything.

The last few Albert Pujols Jerseys sold as Game Used on Ebay, per a Cardinals Expert, have been BAD. Hunt Auctions just removed a Albert Pujols Game Used Jersey when it was reported as BAD, by A Cardinals Expert, due to a bogus COA. Thank you Hunt Auctions for removing it.

Hunt Auctions recently sold an Albert Pujols Game Used and Autographed 2009 Jersey for $9,200 including the Buyer's Premium in their July 14, 2009 Auction. It was authenticated by Upper Deck. This was the first 2009 Game Used Jersey I have seen for sale that was real.

A 2009 Albert Pujols Game Used Home Jersey with Tails? just sold on 12-20-09 on the Cardinals site for $7,340. The Jersey had a 2009 tag attached to the lower side of the Majestic label. All Cardinals Jerseys have a date tag on the initial order for Jerseys. When the Cardinals re-order Jerseys, there will not be a year tag on the Jersey.

On Pujols Game Used Bats Jeff Scott of Birdbats.com stated " Just because a bat comes with a letter of authenticity ~ even from respected sources like PSA/DNA or MEARS ~ don't go into a purchase blindly. Trust me, the authenticators who sign those letters are nice guys who know their stuff - but they are not watching every at bat, talking with people inside the Cardinals organization or examining virtually every Pujols bat that is offered at auction by the Cardinals. Their letters will tell you a bat is a Pujols model consistent with factory records, and that it is used ~ but they're usually careful not to say that Pujols used the bat. Frankly, unless he walked from home plate to the stands and handed me the bat personally, I couldn't tell you whether Pujols used a specific bat, either. But, because I do watch every at bat and have examined many actual Pujols bats offered by the Cardinals, I have a much more informed idea of what to look for in a Pujols gamer. Now that you've read this, I hope you do, too".

A lot of early Albert Pujols autographs are turned down by the authenticators due to the different number of ways Albert has changed the way he signs, that is why you need a Cardinals or Pujols expert to look at your items possibly before you make an error and buy an item that is not authentic.

Feel free to contact me anytime about Cardinals Baseball or collecting. Visit my Pujols, Musial, Rasmus, Bradford to see just a few of my Game Used Collection. Check out the "Steal Of The Week" in my Web Store.

If you collect Game Used Lineup Cards, a Historic September 8, 1998 St. Louis Cardinals team signed Lineup Card from Mark McGwire's 62nd home run game recently sold on 7/12/2011 for $14,000 at Hunt Auctions.

Did you know that the First Base used for Albert's 2000 Hit Game from the 7/29/2011 game sold for $5010.00 and the Second Base sold for $4,310 on 8/14/2011 on MLB.com and they were not even autographed.

Also, A Game-used 2nd Base from Game 7 of the 2011 World Series (10/28/11) sold on 10/11/2012 for $7,009 on the Cardinals Web Site.
